Governors

Margaret Mockett:
I have lived in Littlebourne for 23 years. I am now retired, but my career was in Further Education. My son attended Littlebourne C of E school and now he has two children of primary school age. I am increasingly interested in the work of primary education and in particular that of Littleboune C of E. The school is flourishing and I am very privileged to be a member of the Board of Governors.

Dr. E. A. (Tony) Harris:
I moved to Littlebourne with my wife Katharine in 2004 and have now been a foundation governor of the school here for over two years. Before I retired I was for thirty years a Lecturer in Physics at the University of Sheffield. In addition to teaching and research, I worked with an examination board covering physics at GCSE and A-level.
I have two grown-up daughters and two grandchildren of primary school age living in Kent, who give me useful insight into a parent’s and child’s views on school. In Littlebourne I regularly attend church, where Katharine is a reader. My other great love is music and I play viola in the Canterbury Orchestra.

Mike Coleman:
I am currently a lecturer at Canterbury College having previously been a Manager and Senior Manager. I am a member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology and a Chartered Engineer. I am married to Pat who is a school secretary and have two stepchildren.
